As a child, Nancy Gordon’s great grandmother gave her candies wrapped in a white handkerchief as a gift. The candies were placed quietly by her pillow given to her with a wink. Recalling the joy that came from the gift, Nancy came up with the idea for Pillowinks. Pillowinks is a pillowcase with a secret pocket to store mementos.

Founder, Fashion Designer and former NICU mother, Kate, had preterm premature rupture of membranes at 29 weeks gestation for unknown reasons in the fall of 2018. After being put on bedrest at the hospital for nearly two weeks, Kate, delivered a baby girl, Kovi, at 31 weeks and 3 days. From there, Kovi spent the next 7 weeks in the NICU, where mama, Kate, visited every single day.
