Running Peas is a children’s activewear brand that focuses on creating kids running gear. Their mission is to nurture the joy and liberty of movement by providing high-quality running kits for children. With vibrant colors and playful designs, they aim to ignite a passion for running in children everywhere.
Joanie, the founder of Running Peas, grew up with a love for running. It played a very pivotal role in her life, from running on the playground to competitive track races it has always helped guide her life. Her love for running has now manifested into starting her own brand out of a want to share that joy with her kids.
"Momma can I have these?” asked my then 2-year-old son as he pointed to a classic adult pair of running shorts. A wish evolved into a pursuit to capture the joyousness of kid’s running by creating authentic, comfortable and versatile running clothes made just for kids.
Our purpose is to share in the story of your kiddo’s active life. Where clothing is more than just a pair of shorts and a tank top; it is an expression of personality and activity."
Running Peas’ main offerings are their “running kits” which are a bundled set of their Kids Running Singlet and their 4 inch Running Short. They are available in a variety of colors and sizes, making the kits customizable to your child's needs. Their gear is made from a wicking anti-microbial recycled polyester, ensuring that your kids stay cool and stink less.
Guided Makers has supported Running Peas in transforming their ideas into reality with our PLAN Program, product design, development, sourcing, and launch.
